Saint John’s School Chapel

Acided, painted and silver-stained leaded flashed and pot metal antique glass.

37 panels comprise the window measuring 6m x 6m.

Below the palm fronds lies a sheaf of corn, symbolic of the Eucharistic feast and the Last Supper after Jesus entered into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. Soaring up towards the Holy Spirit in the apex of the window is the great Eagle, the symbol of St John and the school emblem.
